Big Announcement!!

Many of you may know that these past months for our family have been a season of waiting, and difficulty as Jeremy has been separated from us while we have been living with his parents in El Centro, and he working in San Diego during the week.  We had come to the realization that making it in San Diego with our current income was impossible, unless the Lord provided something else.  But nothing had come up and we had to make a choice.  So we moved our little family in with our gracious and generous parents.  We have taken this time to wait on the Lord and seek direction for the next season of our lives. During these past five months we have had four different ministry opportunities that we prayed about and all but one door has been closed by the Lord.  The one door standing open was not our first choice or the easiest choice for that matter, but we were left wondering if God could be asking us to take a step of faith in a direction we had never thought possible for us.  We are very humbled and excited that God would deem us able through His Son to serve Him in this way.

So without further explanation Jeremy has been offered a Youth Pastor position at a church in Medicine Lodge, Kansas.  It's a small quaint town where Jeremy's Aunt, Uncle and Cousins live.  We have spent some time praying and seeking the Lord about this and believe God has opened the door.  So we are moving to Kansas at the beginning of next year!!  We are walking by faith and trusting that God will part the waters as we step out.  We are very excited to share this with you all and ask for all your prayers.  Here are some individual prayer requests for all you prayer warriors out there. :)

Prayer Requets:

  • Wisdom and vision for youth ministry
  • Direction concerning housing, medical insurance, and our children's education
  • Strength and Peace for our children
  • Traveling Mercies
  • Smooth transitions for all involved :)

Also, we are open to any words of wisdom anyone involved in Youth Ministry would have to share with us, this is new territory for us and we would appreciate any advise given.

Thank you for taking the time to read about what God is doing in our lives.  We appreciate and love you all!

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Colossians 3:16, 17

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
